Blackmores is one of the most established supplement brands in Asia-Pacific, with decades of heritage built on science-backed formulations and consumer trust. As health and wellness consumption increasingly shifts toward digital platforms, Blackmores began exploring livestream commerce as a new channel to drive both education and direct conversion.

Unlike impulse-led categories, supplements require clarity, credibility, and structured messaging. Livestreaming presented both an opportunity and a risk: the ability to scale distribution through creators and affiliates, while maintaining brand authority and compliance in a highly regulated category.


Challenge

Blackmores’ challenge was not simply to launch livestreams—but to build a sustainable, brand-controlled livestream operation. Unlike affiliate-driven models, self-livestreaming requires the right on-camera talent, structured product education frameworks, operational consistency, and clear commercial alignment.

The brand needed to identify and structure professional hosts who could represent Blackmores with authority, deliver compliant messaging, and drive conversion—while ensuring that hourly base rates, commission models, and studio testing remained financially viable. The goal was to turn livestreaming from an experiment into a repeatable, scalable revenue channel.


Our Process

We worked closely with Blackmores to design a structured, brand-controlled livestream framework built around education-first selling. In a regulated supplement category, every livestream required clear product positioning, compliant messaging, and a host flow that balanced credibility with commercial urgency. We developed detailed run-of-show formats, product talking points, objection-handling scripts, and promotional mechanics that ensured each session was both informative and conversion-driven.

Beyond on-screen execution, we aligned promotions and paid media to maximise each livestream’s impact. This included structuring voucher strategies, time-sensitive bundles, and audience-building campaigns to drive traffic into live sessions. By integrating host performance, promotional mechanics, and ad management into one coordinated system, we helped transform livestreaming into a repeatable, optimisable growth channel rather than a one-off experiment.
