Challenge
Why Livestreaming Is Harder for Supplement Brands Than Most Categories
Vitamins and supplements are a regulated category. You cannot make health claims without compliance guardrails, hosts cannot ad-lib product benefits, and conversion cannot come at the cost of brand authority built over decades.
Blackmores' challenge was not simply to launch livestreams but to build a repeatable, brand-controlled livestream engine that could scale without compliance risk. That meant finding and training the right on-camera hosts, building structured product education scripts, and creating a commercial framework (promotions, vouchers, bundles) that drove urgency without compromising brand integrity.
Our Process
MajorForm designed and operated a full livestream system for Blackmores built around four components:
Host selection and training. We identified and trained professional hosts capable of representing a health brand with authority, delivering product education on vitamins and supplements clearly, compliantly, and in a way that converted viewers to buyers.
Run-of-show frameworks. Every session ran from a structured script covering product sequencing, talking points, objection handling, and compliant health messaging. Nothing was left to improvisation.
Promotional mechanics. We structured time-sensitive vouchers, bundles, and limited offers to drive conversion urgency within each session, coordinated with the host flow and not bolted on at the end.
Paid media amplification. We ran on-platform TikTok Shop ads timed to each livestream, driving qualified traffic into live sessions and maximising the commercial window. Ad spend returned 5x on average across the program.
